Hmmmm....Russell! I don't mind telling you this boy was from a lease deal that did not work out. The mare was returned to me by the party leasing her after the individual stated he was going to get out of horses compleatly due to personal setbacks. He never gave up the breeders certificate so Russell will have to be registered with the ApHC under the hardship clause. That won't be a problem though, as he has all the color you need to qualify him for ApHC papers. His father, Chargin Eyes, was a reining champion and his mother, Two Dot Risk is one of the only breeding daughters left by the great Rustlers Risk, an ApHC cutting horse of huge accomplishment. Personally, I don't believe this gelding will be either but I do think he will be a huge force to be contended with in the gaming arena. Lots and lots of appaloosa speed blood in this boy, lots of turn and burn!! I also think he should be started later than normal, perhaps in his three year old year, to make sure he keeps sound for those events. He will win, there is no doubt in my mind. Not many appaloosas can win against the mix of Rustler Charger, Rustler Bill and Spanish Eyes. And as an aside, he is very easy on the eyes. Just an elegant looker!! This is not the kind of horse I generally breed (speed event) so he is priced to move. Price upon request.
Our horses are born and bred in Tennessee and, because they aren’t blanketed or coddled in the winter, can withstand all that nature has to throw at them.
Our word is our reputation so at Wasik Ranch we only sell healthy horses. We stand behind each and every one of our prospects. Most of our horses are sold via word-of-mouth and we have sold horses all over the United States including Ohio, Tennessee, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Pennsylvania.
He can be registered under the hardship clause of the ApHC. Call or email us for the details as to why.
