This was a good cross!!  The dam, off the old Babcock Ranch and once owned by country western great Lynn Anderson, is bred for reining, being a granddaughter of Mr. Gun Smoke and Doc O'Lena.  The sire, Oakoboji Bert is a son of Doc's Oak and is also a great grandson of the foundation stallion and rope horse producer Bert!  I like this cross, the filly's nickname is Chunk.  She has a powerful build but glides when she moves.  I believe reining would be her thing, but she certinally is bred to do far more, cutting and roping would not be out of the question.  She is friendly, smart and not a mean bone in her body!  She can move like lightning!! I like mares because once you are done with the showpen, rodeo or any venue you wish to compete in she will make you a great broodmare.   Price upon request.
